Are there any age restrictions?
Drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least one year. The minimum age is 25 years, and the maximum is 65 years.
What documents do I need to rent a car from Kokos Rental?
Please provide the following:
Copy of your passport with visa page
Copy of your valid Greek or international driving license
Valid credit card for payment
Can I review the Rental Agreement before picking up the car?
Rental Agreements vary based on dates, car type, and location. You can view a copy of our Master Rental Agreement, which serves as the basis for all location-specific versions.
What payment options are available?
You can use any of the following payment methods to pay for your rental:
- Cash
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Online Banking
Can I prepay my rental?
Yes! You may reserve and prepay toward your rental online by Bank transaction with a credit or debit card. Please contact our customer care representative to provide you our Bank account details. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, deposits vary depending on the rental agreement type and payment method.
Can I reserve my rental car?
Absolutely! Contact one of our sales representatives to reserve your car.
What information is needed for a reservation?
Please provide:
Full name (as per ID and passport)
Contact details
Current address in Chania
Can I modify or cancel my reservation?
Yes, but please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any additional fees.
Are there late-return fees?
Yes. There is a 1-hour grace period; after that, hourly charges apply. Returns delayed over 3 hours will incur a full-day late fee.
Does the rental price include fuel?
Fuel costs are not included. Cars are provided with approximately half a tank.
Are there any other fees?
No, unless you request additional services such as a personal driver or urgent exchanges.
What types of vehicles do you offer?
We offer a wide range of clean, regularly inspected hatchback cars with 24-hour support.
Is smoking allowed in rental cars?
Smoking is not encouraged inside or outside the vehicles.
Can I change the drop-off location after picking up the car?
Yes, with advance notice of 3 to 6 hours by contacting our customer care.
Can I extend my rental period?
Extensions depend on vehicle availability. If the car is booked, you can exchange it for another model.
What if I have problems with the car? Is roadside assistance available?
Contact our sales team for minor issues; for major problems, stay with the vehicle and wait for assistance or the police.
What should I do in case of an accident or damage?
If you have an accident, do not leave the scene of the accident. Contact the police. If no one was hurt and vehicle damage is minor, drivers are recommended to move their vehicles to the side of the road to avoid blocking traffic. Otherwise, the vehicles should not be moved. Obtain the report from police and submit it to Kokos Rental.
